We’v scoured the race cards for today but, as with yesterday, can’t find anything worth posting as a bet - we never put up tips just for the sake of it, only selections that we’re backing.
There’s excellent racing to come later in the week so we’ll be busy then - indeed we’ve got a strong fancy for a runner on Thursday, so we’ll have a morning update then.
Not a day when we’ll go overboard but there are a couple of runners at Lingfield’s all-weather track that catch our eye from an each-way perspective - perhaps an e/w double.
Sestet (3.30) has ran well twice at Kempton since a significant absence and can defy top-weight against a moderate bunch of opponents - she should at least be placed.
Ask The Oracle (3.00) hails from the shrewd Hughie Morrison yard and is ready to gain a welcome first victory, especially as we feel the step up to 12 furlongs will suit him well.

Our two main bets were beaten, with Alderluck just edged out of a place, but at least our strong mention of Eric’s Charm has steered many of you into backing him.
Thanks to Pricewise (!), the 16/1 had gone though and 12/1 is probably the best any of you will have managed to bag on Oliver Sherwood’s winner of the 3.30 at Sandown.
With excellent action in Ireland most weeks, we will start having regular bets on Sundays although at the moment it is unlikely that we will post a bet tomorrow.
If we do, the update will appear at 11am otherwise we’re back on Monday.
Regular subscribers will know that the Nick Gifford stable is a favourite of ours and we have our eye on Alderluck for the 12.55 race at Sandown.
The current 7/2 is too generous and he’s worth an interest at anything above 3/1, given his recent run and good claimer aboard - we’re going e/w for a ‘thieving’ bet.
Flight Leader is another that should be backed each-way at 11/2 (1.05 Chepstow), after he made a fine seasonal debut behind a potential Paul Nicholls star.
A very useful hurdler, he needed that run after a pelvic injury and is a fascinating contender here for his in-form, but under-estimated stable (Colin Tizzard).
Elsewhere for those who like multiples but just missing our ‘bet’ list, Eric’s Charm is a big price at 16/1 in Sandown’s 3.30, while Lodge Lane is interesting (2.35 Chepstow).
Dancing Mist lacks chasing experience but impressed on his debut over fences at this track (Exeter 2.10) and was staying on in a style that suggested he’d have won over further.
The four-mile trip on heavy going today will suit him down to the ground and he makes ‘each-way steal’ appeal at odds of 11/2 for the in-form Victor Dartnall yard.
Fashion Insider made an eye-catching debut at Newmarket and looks a good thing for the 1.15 at Lingfield, even against a number of decent rivals.
Brian Meehan’s inmates usually improve for a racecourse outing and, given standard progression, this filly makes betting appeal at around even money.

Oliver Sherwood’s stable is enjoying something of a revival at present and Champtho caught the eye when scoring on his debut at Plumpton recently.
At odds of around 5/1, he makes a deal of each-way appeal in the 2.35 at Leicester today, especially as the soft ground is expected to suit him to a tee.
Our Bob has been off the racecourse a long time and has since moved from Willie Mullins to Philip Hobbs so he’ll need to be fit to win the 2.45 at Wincanton.
We’ll trust his canny handler to have him ready though - as he’s a class above these on his form in Grade One races in Ireland and he’s likely to be available at around 3/1.
Our profitable run continued with a winning nap, courtesy of Lord Generous’ heavily-backed (9/4 to 11/8) victory at Southwell while our next best was a non-runner.
Willie Amos has impressed this season already and the Scottish trainer can make a successful raid on Ayr with Carters Rest in the 12.20 contest.
A fine second at Kelso on his recent hurdling debut, this 6yo looked capable of further improvement and should be backed each-way in this competitive event.
The Hardy Boy is aiming for his sixth triumph over the 2m4f trip at Plumpton and this course specialist is now on a winning handicap mark (2.05).
He ran well last time out and will love the heavy conditions.

Like us, Darryll Holland will be regretting his ride on Follow The Dream - surely they should have won and completed a 12/1 double for our tips after Enroblim Trop’s nap victory.
Today looks trickier but we’ll nap Lord Generous in Southwell’s 1.20.
He looked the part in scoring over 3m2f at Warwick last time out and the booking of Tony McCoy indicates stable confidence that he can see off likely favourite Chamirey.
If there are eight runners and he’s 4/1 (unlikely!) then go each-way.
Similar sentiments apply to Suzi Spends on the all-weather at Lingfield (3.30) - though she’s a bigger price at 8/1 - as she would win if back to her best.
That needs to be taken on trust somewhat as she’s disappointed a bit recently but she scored on her only previous visit to the track and is quietly fancied.
We’re due an e-mail update shortly - so contact bespoke.content@btinternet.com and we’ll add you to our free subscription list (which includes some non-website bets).
