Today’s tips: Enroblim & Follow

By Editor On November 30th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Colin Tizzard’s team are in great heart at present and Enroblim Trop can continue the yard’s excellent run by landing the 3.00 race at Folkestone.

The 7yo loves this track, made a pleasing seasonal reappearance last time out and should be primed to go well under Tom Scudamore today - 3/1 is worth a bet.

Follow The Dream was a potentially unlucky loser over the course and distance of the 4.10 at Wolverhampton in September, having been given too much to do.

She is only two pounds higher here and looks good at 9/4.

As a footnote, you’ll now that we regularly remind readers of our fondness for each-way doubles - today’s pair fit the bill to get a small profit if both are placed.

Bally beaten but Denman shines

By Editor On November 28th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips, Racing News /

We won’t have an update on Sunday but will be back on Monday morning.

Our Hennessy tip Ballyfitz started jumping poorly and was soon out of the race while Wee Robbie (2.05) was in the process of running a cracker before a horrendous fall four out.

However Denman’s success was great for racing - a superb effort.

Today’s tips: Ballyfitz & Wee

By Editor On November 28th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Tipping a horse in such a competitive Hennessy holds its perils but we’re willing to give Ballyfitz the each-way vote at 16/1 in the day’s big race at Newbury (2.40).

There are a host of dangers (even including outsider Offshore Account!) but an excellent run in the Paddy Power signalled a comeback for him and he’ll love the extra distance.

Wee Robbie hails from a yard that can certainly ready one after a long absence and we’re willing to take a chance on him at 20/1, in an another race full of runners with chances.

This fellow goes well fresh and was third in the 2007 Jewson so he has definite quality - he’s on a good handicap mark and Nick Gifford’s team are in form - go e/w (2.05)!

We’ve stated our two daily bets but in other races, Binocular is our Champion Hurdle fancy and can see off Solwhit (Newcastle 1.50) while Nampour is potentially each-way value at 12/1 in the 3.15 at Newbury and finally Sleepy Hollow is an interesting 20/1 shot (12.25) on his second run over hurdles - watch him in the market.

Latest update - more profits!

By Editor On November 27th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Just a note to tell you that Saturday’s update will appear at 9.30am approx.

Mith Hill ran a cracker at 11/1 and looked the winner for a while until Lie Forrit loomed upsides and proved just too good for our tip - more profit though for us each-way backers!

Ditto concerning Bob’s Dream - he was third, proving the ‘bet to nothing’ case!

Most of our tips strengthen in the betting but he drifted to 7/1 - do not bet online without getting best odds guaranteed, all our adverts link to firms that offer this great concession.

Today’s tips: Mith & Bob’s

By Editor On November 27th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

As we said on Twitter last night, it’s surely okay to boast about yesterday’s two winning tips from two picks - at 6/1 and 11/4 for a wonderful 25/1 double!!

Let’s hope for more of the same and today we’re hanging our hat on Mith Hill at the very appealing each-way tissue odds of 12/1 in the 2.05 contest at Newbury.

He’d have gone very close at Cheltenham last time out but for an incredibly unlucky passage and has every chance of grabbing at least a place off this mark.

We’ll go with him against main dangers Ainama and Lie Forrit.

The latter is from the interesting Willie Amos yard and we’re hoping his Bob’s Dream can give favourite Rivaliste a run for his money in the 1.30 (also at Newbury).

At 5/1, you can back him as an ‘each-way steal’ - he’s been in excellent form.

We were tempted to put up Dee Ee Williams against the chasing debutant Punchestowns in the 2.40 but only four runners precludes e/w betting.

Today’s tips: Exmoor & Midnight

By Editor On November 26th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Exmoor Ranger makes solid each-way appeal at odds of around 6/1 today.

His trainer Victor Dartnall is in good form, both trip and ground conditions are spot on for him and this represents a drop in class from his recent outings.

Midnight Queen has the assistance of Tony McCoy in the saddle and is an interesting contender over hurdles, following a recent success in a novice chase.

She can take the 12.25 at Newbury on the way to better things.

Today’s tips: General & Castle

By Editor On November 24th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Mmm … yesterday was a strange one - the nap won at the ridiculously short odds of 2/5 while the each-way next best (runner-up) was smashed into 5/2 jolly from the 7/1 available when tipped.

General Kutuzov made a fine debut over hurdles recently, staying on for second place in a manner that suggests the trip for the 2.10 at Lingfield will be ideal. Take the 2/1.

The switch to Fibresand is probably the main worry about Wolverhampton winner Castle Myth but Brian Ellison’s charge looks a good betting option at odds of around 3/1 (Southwell 12.30) - much bigger and he would be a perfect ‘each-way bet to nothing’.

With no update on Wednesday, we’ll be back on Thursday morning.

Today’s tips: Candy & Wayward

By Editor On November 23rd, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

The vibes from the Nicky Henderson stable are very strong for Candy Creek today - although she’s unlikely to be available at huge odds on this hurdling bow.

The trainer loves farming this event (12.20 Kempton) and this mare is expected to make a winning seasonal debut on the way to much better things in the future.

Wayward Prince is an interesting contender for the 12.30 at Ludlow.

Ian Williams’ inmate ran a cracker in a recent Sandown bumper and will be well suited to the extra distance today - he looks a fine each-way proposition.

Nemetan (2.35 Kempton) was also on our shortlist but just misses out.

Today’s tips: Skipper’s & Planet

By Editor On November 21st, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

A marvellous day’s racing and we’re having three bets rather than the normal two.

Skipper’s Lad has been in excellent form, like most of Colin Tizzard’s inmates, and offers great each-way value at odds of around 6/1 in the 12.55 at Ascot.

One of our old favourites, Planet Of Sound, is another value e/w bet at 9/2 in the 3.10 at the same track - he’s progressive and Voy Por Ustedes will improve for the run.

In the 2.20 at Haydock, Naiad du Misselot is an interesting contender and is worth a bet at 10/1, even in this trappy heat, as the trip will suit and his canny trainer is back in form.

Others on the shortlist today were Calatagan (12.45), Ravello Bay (1.30), Johnny Mudball (1.55) and Cornas (2.05) but we’ll stick with our three main bets.

Today’s tips: Digger & Novikov

By Editor On November 19th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

A profit on both bets yesterday although the nap was short at 4/7 - at least the each-way next best was available at more rewarding odds of 10/1.

Nick Gifford has his team in good form and Digger Gets Lucky can make a successful chasing debut in the (3m) handicap - a feat achieved by a stablemate on Monday.

He should be available at a decent each-way price in this 2.40 at Huntingdon.

Similar comments apply to Novikov in the 1.40 at the same track.

Favourite Mount Helicon is highly regarded but has not managed to win over hurdles yet and his presence undoubtedly makes the market for his opponents.

With no update on Friday, we’ll be back before midday on Saturday.

Today’s tips: Khor & Cumbrian

By Editor On November 18th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Yesterday’s nap blundered away his chance at the last when holding a real chance of victory so we’re hoping for a little bit of better fortune this time around.

Godolphin have found an excellent winning opportunity for the consistent Khor Dubai tonight in the 8.50 conditions race at Kempton Park.

His third behind Gitano Hernando last time out entitles him to beat these rivals a shade comfortably, although Confuchias took this event last year.

We need the eight runners to stand their ground for three places in Market Rasen’s 3.40 to make Cumbrian Knight an ‘each-way bet to nothing’.

Calzaghe is a worthy favourite but our tip is the one most likely to take advantage of any weaknesses and should, at the very least, be in the first three home.

Today’s tips: Stretch & Laughed

By Editor On November 17th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

Our 12/1 next best ran a fine race yesterday to finish second and grab the place money - unfortunately the nap never figured so the bookies got some of our cash back!

Tom Taaffe sends Stretch The Truth over from Ireland to Fakenham for the 3.30 today and the hint should be taken, especially at odds of around 7/2.

The ground and sharper track will be right up his alley.

They All Laughed is a solid performer on Southwell’s Fibresand and returns to the track on a 12 lbs better mark than a previous course success.

At 11/2, he makes plenty of each-way appeal.

Today’s tips: Danzatrice & Russian

By Editor On November 16th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

A fascinating weekend’s fare should have whetted your appetite for jump racing.

Danzatrice has been in good form on the Flat this summer and can build on some fair hurdling efforts last winter by landing the 3.40 contest at Leicester.

She’s on the tissue at 4/1 so an each-way interest is there for the ‘thieves’.

At 12/1 in Plumpton’s 1.20, Russian Flag catches the eye.

That is a decent value price (e/w) in this company as this course and distance winner invariably runs a solid race and he also goes well when fresh (it’s his seasonal debut).

Today’s tips: Chelsea & Northern

By Editor On November 14th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

After our each-way nap was 3rd yesterday at 10/1 (our next best was a non-runner), we’re playing at similar prices today on an admittedly mega-competitive Cheltenham card.

Chelsea Harbour stays the trip (3m4f) of the 1.55 extremely well, will relish the sodden conditions and is in good form - he has to be backed at the currently available 7/1 (e/w).

He lacks winning course form but has only ran there once.

We’re looking for the Irish to defy a dreadul record in the Paddy Power Gold Cup as we fancy Northern Alliance to run a big race at a juicy odds of 11/1 (e/w, of course).

Tony Martin loves his raids over the Irish Sea and we hear the horse is expected to give a good account of himself - he’s on a decent mark and has been primed for this.

Made In Japan makes some appeal in the 3.10 at 14/1.

Today’s tips: Mister & Beggars

By Editor On November 13th, 2009 in Free Racing Tips /

We went close on Wednesday with a winning nap and our next best finishing runner-up, but we also had a 10/1 second (tipped each-way) on our e-mail only update.

If you’re not already on the list, contact bespoke.content@btinternet.com and we’ll send you news and the confidential tips that can’t be posted on the website - it’s all free.

As for today, our nap is Mister Apple’s in Cheltenham’s 1.15 race.

Ian Williams’ charge has a fantastic record in amateur riders’ races at the track and he can follow up a recent win in such a contest here, even off 8lbs higher - take 8/1 each-way.

At a similar price, Beggars Cap is well worth an e/w interest at 9/1 in the 2.25.

Nicky Henderson’s French Opera has to be respected but his presence makes the market and our Ferdy Murphy raider can continue his progression up the ranks today.

We may have a second update tonight, posted no later than 6.30pm.
