While our heads are tuned into the Flat now, it was great to see tremendous performances from Dunguib and Notre Pere at Punchestown today - two top-notchers.
The Guineas meeting is approaching and we’re looking to get back on track after our 100% record on the Flat (alright, it was only one bet but it was a maximum win on Nautical!!) was spoilt by Indonesia’s defeat on Saturday.
If the prices are right, we should definitely be betting again this weekend so please keep checking here and your e-mail updates.
We were due to continue our waiting game today but word reaches us from our best bookmaking contact that Indonesia is worth an interest in Haydock’s 6.40 race.
He ’s a 6/1 shot with Bet365 and that’s worth 0.25 points each-way on account - click on the banner below to get £200 free bets (Paddy Power go 11/2).

Tim Walford trains the gelding and his stable is one that we rate very highly - it’s definitely a yard to keep an eye on, especially when in good form as at present.
Today’s bet should be the start of a much busier period as we approach all kinds of cracking meetings, including the Guineas and Chester.
Lots of fascinating racing in the last week at Newmarket, Newbury and Leopardstown so we’re making plenty of notes but keeping our powder dry until we feel the season has absolutely settled down and the form can be trusted.
Perhaps the most interesting winner of the last seven days was Fame And Glory in the Ballysax on Sunday - he looks a real Derby contender when one considers the slow start to the campaign by Aidan O’Brien and also the fact that he carried a Group One penalty.
At Newmarket, Fantasia and Delegator were impressive winners but it remains to be seen whether they repeat the performances at the Guineas meeting itself.
Once we get back into betting action, messages will appear here and also on our Twitter page - check out FreeRacingTips at Twitter.com - this is a useful tool as you can get updates on your mobile for when you’re not near your computer.
Otherwise contact bespoke.content@btinternet.com and we’ll add you to our free ‘Bet On Horses’ subscription list - we’ll always mail our bets to you.
Well, our last seasonal bet on the jumps was hardly the appropriate farewell after a very successful couple of months - we’re over £2,000 up since February but Arbor Supreme never looked like adding to that.
Now is the time for change however and the Flat season is really starting to come to the boil with Newmarket’s Craven meeting as always delivering quality runners.
We’ll forgive our Irish mole for Monday’s bum tip as he’s mostly brilliant (Mikael d’Haguenet and Ninetieth Minute at Cheltenham being recent examples.
We’ve no bets to offer you for Thursday but would advise you to set the video (alright, Sky+ it then) as there are lots of future winners to be noted at this two-day meeting.

Hello, we’re back after a short post-Aintree break with a speculative account bet in the Irish National at Fairyhouse (3.55).
Arbor Supreme is the subject of our 0.25 points each-way punt (4 pts is our max), even though he could be described as Willie Mullins’ third string in the race.
He’s always seemed a National type and is probably being overlooked following a moderate run at Down Royal last time - but, if you forgive him that, then he’s right in the mix, even in such a mega-competitive event.
He’s 14/1 at Paddy Power and they offer FIVE places, as well as free bets.
Other firms at 14s, but without the extra place, include Victor Chandler and Coral.

Our sister site www.cheltenhamfestivaltips.co.uk concentrates on the jumps, while this site is focused more on the Flat, so our bets at Aintree will be displayed there this week.
Check there now to read the first bet of the week and it’s a strong one! Open an account with Paddy Power here and get free bets.
